“Cursed be the man before the Lord who rises up and builds this city Jericho” (Joshua 6:26)

Since the man who rebuilt Jericho was cursed, how much more the ministers that rebuild denominations on sand that were once secure on the Solid Rock of obeying the Word of God? Christian denominations that once preached the Word of God have been taken over by liberal ministers who no longer believe the Bible, much less obey it.

Matthew 7:24-27: “Whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock … But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand”.

The Solid Rock is obeying the Word of God. Have you believed a false gospel? Here’s the proof: “He who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him” (1 John 2:3-4).

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).

But they say, “I have faith!”. “You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe - and tremble!  But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?” (James 2:19-20). Saving faith will always bear good fruit.

“The children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God” (1 John 3:10).

Dear reader, please, find a church that preaches and lives the Word of God. “Receive with meekness the implanted Word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves” (James 1:21-22).
